An ongoing campaign set in the same world as Stars Without Number, only on ‘Old Terra’. Other Dust is fully compatible with Stars Without Number and follows the same open world sandbox style play as author Kevin Crawford’s other ______ Without Numbers books. Other Dust is rules light, open world game set in a formerly utopian world ravaged hundreds of years ago by a world ending event called ‘The Scream’. Characters must deal with scarce resources, mutated creatures of the wastes, forever fires burning hot with radiation and the constant threat of a nanite infested atmosphere that still plagues the Earth.

Four characters will begin play in the desolate, haunted remains of the Pacific Northwest. A few scattered pockets of civilization have emerged and each have their own factions, goals and mysteries.

Players will start with a completely random pre-generated character (you flesh out the background and motivation as we go), in a randomly generated enclave, surrounded by … randomly generated ancient ruins and sites.
