Interested in playing Dungeons & Dragons but not sure where to start? Want to run D&D as a Dungeon Master but find all the rules and choices overwhelming? This session is for beginning players, we’ll play basic Dungeons & Dragons using pre-generated characters with backstories. Basic D&D (BECMI), is a very simple streamlined version of D&D first published in 1983. I’ll show you how to play, how to begin a campaign, how to run monsters, traps, and NPCs. We will use the world of Mystara, a fantasy setting with all the classic D&D tropes. If you are already well versed in D&D don’t sign up for this, you are OP.
You’ll need entry (below) to play or an existing membership.
A scroll of entry allows for a guest to enter 5 Magics with a member. The guest can participate in a game session hosted in a room by a member, or enjoy the open gaming area. We hope you enjoy the experience enough to consider a Gold or Platinum membership.
